Travel Programs
The Barrett Honors College highly encourages its students to enhance their educational experience by studying abroad. Studying outside the United States expands students’ global perspective and adds knowledge and awareness they cannot receive with just a basic university education. Students who have studied abroad report that it is their most important and meaningful educational experience, one they will remember for the rest of their lives.
The Barrett Honors College offers several summer study abroad programs that allow honors students to travel and study together and with BHC faculty members. Additionally, the college provides need-based scholarships (submission deadline: November 4, 2009) to financially support participation in the following programs:
Australia with Directors: Claudia Navarro, Dr. Valentin Dinu, Dr. Brooke Mayer, and Dr. T.W. Lee (More Info)
China with Director: Dr. David Pickus (More Info)
