Internships and Undergraduate Research
Undergraduate Research
The Barrett Honors College has collaborated with many departments on campus to develop an interdisciplinary Undergraduate Research Database that allows honors students to more easily navigate undergraduate research opportunities. This database is updated on a regular basis.
Are you a faculty member seeking to post a current undergraduate research opportunity or project? Are you a student looking to engage in a research project? Do you have questions pertaining to specific research opportunities? Please contact Chelsea Overstreet at Chelsea.Overstreet@asu.edu.
Internship and Mentorship Office
The Internship office is a resource for informing Barrett Honors College students and alumni about available internships. If you need help finding an internship, please contact:
Jill Johnson, Barrett Internship Coordinator: Jill.Johnson@asu.edu or 602-496-0557. (Located at the ASU Downtown Phoenix Campus)
-or-
Alexandra Aragon, Barrett Internship Coordinator: Alexandra.Aragon@asu.edu or call 480-727-6993. (Located at the ASU Tempe Campus).
If you have an internship and would like to earn Honors credit for your experience, please contact: Alexandra Aragon, Barrett Tempe Intern Coordinator: Alexandra.Aragon@asu.edu or call 480-727-6993. Take some time to do a little research to find out what types of internships are available, and then compile a list of the places you are interested in. A student who wishes to enroll in the HON 484 course for credit must submit three documents to receive the course SLN (Affiliation Agreement, Book Recommendation Form, and Student Information Sheet). Please deliver the completed forms to Sage North Hall, Room 110F or fax to Alex Aragon at 480-965-0760.
All students who engage in an internship, regardless of whether they enroll in the HON 484 Internship Course for credit, must be sure that their company/organization submits an Affiliation Agreement.
Important forms for students enrolled in HON 484 include the Midterm Evaluation Form and Final Evaluation Form.
