Study Abroad

The Barrett Honors College highly encourages its students to enhance their educational experience by studying abroad. Studying outside the United States expands students’ global perspective and adds knowledge and awareness they cannot receive with just a basic university education. Students who have studied abroad report that it is their most important and meaningful educational experience, one they will remember for the rest of their lives.

Barrett students are also encouraged to explore the several hundred study abroad and exchange programs offered through the ASU Study Abroad Office.  One special program for Barrett students is an honors exchange with the University Scholars Programme at the National University of Singapore.  Each Fall and Spring semester, two Barrett students may participate in this exchange program.
