Hi, I'm Mark Henderson, Associate Dean of Barrett, The Honors College at ASU's Polytechnic Campus.

I would like to welcome you to the Honors College whether you are a current student, prospective student, parent, or faculty member wanting to work with excellent students. My mission is to make sure that our students get the enhanced education and preparation for life for which the Honors College is well known. My staff and I are here to prepare you to launch into your life goals, whether it's finding that perfect career or pursuing advanced graduate or professional education - either here, or around the world. Barrett can help you find your place in the world and raise your sights even beyond what you think is possible.

In Barrett, students live and study in a community of scholars that gives the advantage of a small private school within a large, public, research university - it's the best of both worlds. Here at the Polytechnic campus, our Barrett Suite features space exclusively for honors students including our library, gathering space and computer center. The Barrett Suite, with all its amenities, is the perfect place for students to work between classes or to spend the day studying. In addition to these student spaces, the suite houses offices of our dedicated, full-time Barrett staff and faculty.

Consider that Barrett students are, of course, outstanding in the classroom but they also are the leaders of many of the most successful student groups and clubs both within Barrett and across campus. Our students also are routinely working one-on-one with distinguished ASU faculty on advanced research projects. The Barrett experience enriches students' undergraduate preparation and makes them highly sought after applicants for graduate and professional schools, as well as for career opening. They are the most awarded students across ASU for post-graduate fellowships.

I invite you to explore our Barrett website. And, I encourage you to contact our office with questions and to schedule a visit so we can welcome you in person to Barrett, The Honors college at ASU's Polytechnic campus.

Sincerely,

Mark Henderson
