E-mail bhcadmissions@asu.edu to cancel your Barrett Honors College admission.

Your request will take 3-5 business days to process, at which time you will be able to register for a non-honors orientation and select from non-honors housing options within the residential community of your ASU academic college (e.g. Business, Engineering, Journalism and Mass Communication, Liberal Arts and Sciences, etc.).

If you have already:

  • registered for an upcoming Barrett orientation, e-mail the ASU New Student Programs Office at orientation@asu.edu to switch into a non-honors program.
  • selected housing in the Barrett community, change your assignment via your online housing portal to an available option within the residential community of your ASU academic college.
  • signed up for fall classes, drop the required honors class, HON 171 The Human Event, through your My ASU webpage.
