Margaret Tueller, a senior in Barrett, The Honors College studying geographic information systems and urban planning, participated in the National Park Service’s highly competitive “Geoscientists in the Parks” program this past summer. During her internship she used geospatial data to help inform current and future park zoning, which is key to managing different aspects of the park including visitor use and resource allocation.
