The Sustainability House at Barrett (SHAB) was transformed into a haunted hotel on Halloween, complete with scary guests, including zombies and skeletons.

SHAB is Barrett Honors College’s LEED certified residence hall, where students live in an energy-efficient way with low-energy use lighting, low-water use fixtures and a rooftop garden. In addition to being fun and frightening, the event, called “Hallogreen”, was meant to bring attention to SHAB, conservation and sustainability. All of the props, costumes and decorations were reused and recycled. Barrett student Abigail Olsen explains the focus of the event in this segment on Fox 10 News.
