Alexander Sojourney, who in May graduated from Arizona State University with honors from Barrett, The Honors College, is one of 46 students named as a 2021 Marshall Scholar. He's now preparing to move to the United Kingdom this fall.

In this interview with ABC15 in Phoenix, he talks about diversity in prestigious programs such as the Marshall Scholarship.

Kyle Mox, associate dean of National Scholarships Advisement at ASU, also gives his perspective.

The Office of National Scholarships Advisement is hosting information sessions about the Marshall and Rhodes Scholarships and other programs with the hope of attracting diverse candidates.
