The U.S. Department of Labor has awarded Arizona State University an $8 million grant to lead a workforce development partnership that will help train workers for jobs in advanced manufacturing, cybersecurity and information technology. 

Tom Sugar, associate dean of Barrett at the ASU Polytechnic campus and co-principal investigator for the grant, said the Poly campus will lead efforts in additive manufacturing, robotics and automation, and new battery technologies.
