Susan Stodola describes her work as a cross between psychology, social work, and law. She serves as a Capital Mitigation Specialist for those charged with capital murder and tells their family history and life story, hires mitigation experts, and prepares for testimony. In this speaker series, Susan will share how she found her passion in her career, the empathy she provides to those charged with capital murder, and stories from her time in courtrooms.
