Are you interested in applying to become a Peer Mentor for Barrett? Attend a Peer Mentor Information Session, where you will learn about:

  • the Peer Mentor’s role and responsibilities
  • the top qualities of a Peer Mentor
  • the application process
  • how to make your application stand out

The Barrett Peer Mentor is a 15 hour/week live-in position.  The Peer Mentor will focus on creating and executing academic/professional programming, engaging in Peer Mentor training, proactively interacting with Barrett students, encouraging student participation in hall/building/off campus events, and regularly communicating with staff. Peer Mentors have the opportunity to develop and enhance their leadership skills.

There are additional Peer Mentor Information Sessions on the following dates:

  • January 10, 4-5 p.m., Honors Hall 131
  • January 12, 12-1 p.m., Sage 141
  • January 12, 3:30-4:30 p.m., Honors Hall 123
  • January 16, 4-5 p.m., Juniper 201

Applications are due on January 19 at 5 p.m.
