South Desert Village

Polytechnic South Desert Village Polytechnic South Desert Village Floor Plans

Overview

Barrett sophomores, juniors, and seniors on the Polytechnic campus have the unique opportunity to live in full-size houses in South Desert Village. These two, and three-bedroom homes ensure that students have their own bedroom and either has a private bath or share a bath with only one other person. While freshmen and sophomores are expected to live within the Barrett community, many of our junior and senior students choose to continue to reside in the neighborhood, creating natural opportunities for peer mentoring to occur. Included in the homes for each student are a twin XL bed and mattress, desk, office chair, dresser, waste/recycle baskets, and blinds. The homes also feature shared amenities such as an in-house washer and dryer, kitchen appliances (refrigerator, range, and dishwasher), sofa and living space furniture, and dining table. Water, electricity, garbage, 80-channel cable TV, and internet service are all included.
