Barrett prides itself on the interdisciplinary nature of its residence halls where highly motivated students live and engage with students from multiple majors campus-wide. Each community is supported by Barrett and University Housing staff, which includes Community Directors, Community Assistants, Barrett Student Leaders and Barrett Staff, who are committed to student growth and development.

Current Barrett students at the Polytechnic campus live in Century Hall and South Desert Village. First year and upper division students living on campus for the 2020-21 academic year will be the first students to live in the new residential hall currently under construction. This 370 bed residential hall will house the Barrett residential community, Barrett student lounge, faculty and staff offices, classrooms, computer lab, and study space.

The Barrett residential community allows students to live close to campus resources, to network with other academically-focused students, and to participate in a variety of events designed to support your academic experience as well as connect you with your peers, the university and surrounding community.
