An internship is a short-term professional experience that offers the opportunity to enhance classroom knowledge. Though not required, Barrett students are encouraged to participate in internship opportunities throughout their undergraduate career. There are also some scholarships that are available for Honors credit.

Barrett works with all of the schools and colleges at ASU to identify and match students with research opportunities. As early as the first year in Barrett, students are able to secure undergraduate research opportunities in multiple fields of study.

Professional Development

Barrett, The Honors College provides professional development offerings including group workshops, community partner information sessions, and one-on-one coaching designed to maximize each student’s internship search support and career development.
