Internship Description: 

Intel Corporation has exciting CPLG (Customer Fulfillment, Planning and Logistics Group) internship opportunities for Summer 2019. Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt administrative nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to): •Transportation and Supplier management. •Logistics capabilities development. •Identifying process improvements based on thorough understanding of business processes and supply chain dependencies. •Understanding logistics spending drivers and initiating cost savings by identifying innovative opportunities. •Business Analytics. •Experience working in a global environment is considered a bonus.


Internship Mentoring
Selected interns will be mentored by the group they are assigned. In addition, the intern may apply for an "Intel Buddy", a colleague who has graduated college within the last five years and is able to answer questions of a professional nature that the intern may not feel comfortable asking of their team/manager. The intern will complete various projects for the duration of the summer focusing on Intel's current challenges. Interns will also have the ability to participate in a wide variety of learning events such as major group conferences/networking opportunities, competing in case studies amongst their peers, and presenting their finished projects to an audience of colleagues and managers at the end of the summer.

Desired Qualifications: 

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. Minimum Qualifications: •Applicants must be pursuing a BA/BS in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering or related field. •This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only. A U.S. Worker is someone who is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. Intel will not sponsor a foreign national for this position. Preferred Qualifications: •Logistics/Supply chain experience is a plus. •Knowledge of Capital equipment transportation is an advantage. •Lean knowledge or experience are a plus. •Excel skills, logistics, data mining skills are a plus.
