The primary responsibility of the Videography Intern is to assist A New Leaf in capturing client, volunteer, and donor testimonials through video recordings. Interns will participate in the filming, editing, and producing of videos ranging from 15 seconds to 4 minutes, with the expectation of a professional final product for use on social media, email, and other digital platforms.
Interns will gain extensive video production experience while helping change the lives of families and individuals in the Valley, providing critical services needed to lead to self-sufficiency. Donations made as a result of marketing efforts will go to A New Leaf’s homeless and domestic violence shelter programs.
This internship will require a time commitment of 15-20 hours per week, approximately two work days per week. Exact hours are flexible according to the intern’s class schedule, and we are able to arrange telecommuting. Internship is set to extend from January 1, 2018 to May 24, 2019.
Interns will perform work primarily in-office at our Mesa Philanthropy Office (2245 W Ella St. Mesa, AZ 85201), as well as from home (telecommuting can be arranged). Intern can accrue no more than 3 absences during internship. Interns will receive a $500 stipend upon successful conclusion of the internship.
A New Leaf is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated intern willing to immerse themselves in the art of video production. Interns will be expected to adhere to a rigorous schedule of filming and editing, managing the entire video production process from beginning to end.
We prefer that candidates have some experience working with professional grade equipment in some way, however we are willing to train the right candidate that is willing to learn.
