Internship Description: 

Project C.U.R.E. (Commission on Urgent Relief and Equipment) is the world’s largest non-profit organization providing donated medical supplies and equipment to hospitals, clinics and community health centers in the developing world.

Project C.U.R.E.'s Internship Program provides undergraduate college students the opportunity to learn about global healthcare and the non-profit sector while gaining hands-on experience at our Tempe headquarters. Interns develop both professionally and personally as they contribute to Project C.U.R.E.'s mission: to identify, solicit, collect, sort and deliver medical supplies and services according to the imperative needs of the world.

Positions available for undergraduate students in a variety of majors. Possible internships will include the following responsibilities:
• Conducting research on medical devices and recipient communities
• Developing training materials
• Procuring supplies
• Volunteer recruitment and management
• Planning and executing fundraising events
• Warehouse and medical supply management
• Repairing and testing biomedical equipment
• Administrative work
• Inventory and process analytics
• Social media management and Marketing



Desired Qualifications: 

Project C.U.R.E. is seeking passionate students with the entrepreneurial spirit to take initiative and actively pursue process improvement opportunities for the organization in Phoenix. Interns must be professional, able to problem-solve independently and have strong leadership skills



Preferred Majors: 
Intern projects vary by the major of the student. Common majors for interns include sustainability, business, supply-chain, engineering (especially biomedical and industrial), nursing, and pre-med.
