Project Description: 

- Commit 9 hrs/wk
- Recruit and screen research participants
- Become familiar with stages of a research process
- Participate in the analysis and dissemination of study results
- Participate in weekly lab meetings with study PI, study physician, students and staff (Mondays from 11am to 1pm)
- Observe a 4-month, family-centered, lifestyle intervention at a local YMCA, and family diabetes prevention consultations with a registered dietitian
