Barrett's Residential Complex is composed of nine buildings designed specifically for honors students in all stages of their academic career. Complete with open courtyards and breezeways, academic, student, and residential engagement team supports these LEED certified silver residence halls are state of the art facilities. Barrett fosters an engaging and unique community where students are able to meet and foster quick connections with other highly motivated honors students from multiple disciplines or majors. Barrett, The Honors College sophomores, juniors, and seniors live in Vista del Sol.

Vista del Sol provides a unique on-campus living experience for 1,866 students on the south end of campus across from Barrett, The Honors College Complex. The community features private or shared accommodations in furnished apartment-style units. At the center of the 10-building community is a 23,000 sq. ft. community center featuring a fitness center, social lounge, game room and movie theater. Adjoining the community center is a resort-style swimming pool with a large sundeck, outdoor lounge and grill areas, basketball and sand volleyball courts. The community represents the future of student housing as ASU created a long-term partnership with American Campus Communities in the financing of the project. Vista del Sol is home to Barrett, The Honors College Residential College upper division students.

Vista is conveniently located on the south side of the Tempe campus. It is close to the Sun Devil Fitness Complex and the ASU Police Department on Apache Blvd.
