Renewal FAQs

Barrett Honors College students at the Tempe campus can select from three upper-class accommodations:

Meal plans are required in Barrett Complex and highly encouraged in Vista del Sol. Vista residents have the special opportunity to purchase a $500 all M&G plan per semester.

Barrett students live in the Barrett residential community for their first two years. The majority of upper-class students live in Vista del Sol. Four bedroom apartments are popular options, as each student has a private bedroom and private bathroom. Three bedroom apartments house four students, with two private room/private bathroom apartments and one shared bedroom/shared bathroom. The shared bedroom/shared bathroom is the most economical option in the community.

If you are part of a four-person roommate group, be sure to discuss the option of the shared bedroom/shared bathroom option in case a four bedroom apartment isn’t available.

All apartments in Vista del Sol come with a full kitchen, a washer/dryer, and a leather-style sofa and side chair, a coffee table, an end table, dining nook stools, and an entertainment center. Private rooms include a full-size bed, dresser, nightstand, study desk, and a chair. The shared room in the 3 bedroom apartment includes two twin beds, two study desks, two chairs, two nightstands, and two dressers. Roomy closets and a bookshelf nook are included.
