Discover. Connect. Impact.
With the largest residential college profile across all four ASU campuses, Barrett dramatically contributes to the Student Life of the entire university. Barrett students demonstrate leadership in the classroom, in research labs, in mentoring and tutoring other students, and in securing leadership roles in ASASU student government, Changemaker Central, Greek Life and over 700 student organizations, chapters, and societies. Barrett students positively impact ASU, and our local, national and global communities through internship, service, travel and other professional development opportunities within Barrett and across ASU.
Barrett students come from around the world, each with their own goals, passions, and diverse backgrounds. Our students are entrepreneurs, artists, dancers, Division I athletes, leaders, and Changemakers. They learn from each other and engage in a community that promotes academic engagement, leadership, service, global-awareness, and social action. All four Barrett campuses provide growth and development opportunities in a full range of academic, cultural, service, professional development, travel, wellness, arts, social, entrepreneurial, and sustainability programs. In this way, we meet the diverse needs of our community while emphasizing a holistic approach to honors education.
Our strong sense of community in Barrett stems from building connections as early as before freshmen year even starts with our Barrett camps for incoming freshmen on all four campuses. Students continue to build their Barrett network and form relationships that last a lifetime by proactively meeting with faculty, other students, academic advisors, student life and residential staff to explore opportunities that match their interests. All students are encouraged to get involved and take advantage of the full Barrett experience from day one.
