BLAST @ Poly

Mission Statement: 

To lead and create a community for Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University at the Polytechnic Campus, by supporting and organizing Barrett events and activities through leadership. The organization develops and promotes traditions for Barrett students, while serving the greater community. BLAST Poly members will strive to support events and to conceive and implement new events with input from its members.

General Information: 

BLAST @ Poly is the leadership and service team for honors students on the Polytechnic campus. BLAST members organize events for Barrett students, serve ASU and the Polytechnic campus, and work with charitable organizations in their community.

In the past, some of their community building events have included dance lessons, kayaking, game nights, field days, and more. In addition, they have contributed to campus events such as Boo Bash and have volunteered with Relay For Life, Feed My Starving Children, Habitat for Humanity, and other organizations.

BLAST meets every other week in the Barrett Center Lounge to discuss club business - all Barrett Polytechnic students are encouraged to stop by, meet the officers, and learn more about becoming involved.

How To Get Involved: 

Please attend any of the bi-weekly BLAST @ Poly meetings to join the organization and find out how to become more involved. These meetings are every other Thursday at 6pm in the Barrett Lounge.
