Barrett Choir

General Information:

“Please stand” and sing with us!

Barrett Choir is a large, mixed ensemble primarily for non-music majors. Most of the members are students in Barrett, the Honors College, but this is not required for membership. Recognizing that there are many students in Barrett with musical experience, expertise, and interest, the School of Music and the Honors College have partnered to provide students with a high-quality choral ensemble. The purpose of the club is to support the activities of the choir, which is a class (MUP 459), to ensure that the organization operates smoothly, and to help guarantee that there are sufficient resources, both human and financial. Students may receive up to 4 honors credits for singing in Barrett Choir. We meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-7:15 p.m. in Gammage 301.
