2018 marks an important milestone in the life of Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University. It is the honors college’s 30th anniversary.

With approval from the Arizona Board of Regents – the governing body for Arizona’s three state universities - the University Honors College was established at ASU in 1988. In 2001, with a generous endowment from Craig and Barbara Barrett, the college became Barrett, The Honors College.

For three decades, Barrett has provided a prestigious and nationally renowned 4-year, residential honors experience for outstanding undergraduates from around the United States and the world.

Throughout this anniversary year, we will highlight what makes Barrett the gold standard of honors colleges in the nation. We’ll tell you about successful alumni and interesting students, 30 great things about the honors college, unique honors opportunities such as honors study abroad and global engagement programs, the college’s contributions to the university community, its positive impact on honors higher education, and much more.

We hope you’ll join us in celebrating Barrett’s 30 years of service and success.
