Barrett West Valley campus

The West Valley campus features two residential experiences for students; first-year and apartment-style housing.

Barrett students at the West Valley campus live with other honors students during the first year in Casa de Oro. Casa de Oro is a suite-style experience with two students per room, four students per suite. The floors are mixed-gender floors, with same-gender rooms or gender-inclusive housing options. Barrett students live on the first floor close to all the resources, such as a community kitchen and laundry facilities.

Peer Academic Leaders

They plan events and activities designed to help students make social connections, succeed academically, and have fun during their educational journey.

Jack Leeman Peer Academic Leader

Jack Leeman (PAL in Casa de Oro)

Hey everyone, my name is Jack and I’m currently one of the Peer Academic Leaders (PAL) for Barrett, The Honors College at West. I am from St. Louis, Missouri studying forensic psychology in my junior year. I enjoy being a PAL because I like seeing the growth of residents throughout their years at the university. I’m here to offer any support I can to ensure an unforgettable year for my residents! In addition to my work with Barrett, I am also involved in one of the most prominent student organizations on campus, the Programming and Activities Board. I enjoy trying new restaurants, playing paintball, and spending time with friends in my free time!
