Tempe campus and community
Situated on the southeast corner of ASU’s Tempe campus, the eight-acre Barrett Complex opened in 2009. The complex consists of nine buildings, eight of which are residential and the ninth is our own honors student union, Honors Hall. Extensive input from Barrett students, our Dean, faculty and staff went into the design of this community, which features three large courtyards, an outdoor amphitheater, hammock posts, and numerous areas to sit and enjoy the beautiful Arizona weather.
Located just south of the Barrett Complex is Barrett@Vista, the sophomore-and-beyond part of our residential community. Barrett@Vista consists of 10 buildings, nine of which are apartment-style dormitories with full kitchens and laundry in each apartment. The tenth building is the Vista del Sol Community Center which includes various indoor amenities and a resort-style pool.
