Student life at Barrett West Valley

Barrett West Valley engagement

The Barrett West Valley community encourages students to get involved by providing a variety of opportunities to attend events, join student organizations, and learn leadership skills. Events are open to their entire community and students are often joined by faculty and staff to enjoy activities ranging from a simple coffee run to larger events like Winter at West, a festival celebrating all that’s wonderful about winter in the desert.

Students living in the residence halls benefit from the expertise and efforts of the Peer Academic Leaders. Barrett West Valley Mentors will reach out to all new students in the fall semester to offer events, activities, and advice about life at Barrett. Other student leaders offer opportunities to make connections, join student organizations, and become more involved in the Barrett community.

Meet new friends

Joining a student organization is a great way to get involved on campus and meet new friends. In addition to the Barrett West groups, they are a variety of other student organizations at ASU.
